HERSCH, Robert Michael

passed away at age 69 on October 3, 2019.

Robert was born in Philadelphia, PA to Sidney and Evelyn (Rosenberg) Hersch. He graduated from Abington High School and went on to receive a B.A in Political Science from American University in Washington D.C., a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona and a law degree from Seattle University. He practiced law for 33 years in Tucson. He focused on working toward non-adversarial, collaborative resolutions to disputes of his clients.On October 10, 1987 he married Trudy Walsh Hersch who was his shining light and the love of his life. He and Trudy enjoyed many wonderful travels all over the world.Robert loved all animals, in particular cats. He was also an avid music lover and enjoyed all kinds of jazz. He was a kind and compassionate spirit.Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Evelyn Hersch and his nephew, Jonathan Schwartz. Robert is survived by his wife, Trudy; sister, Joan Schwartz of Boca Raton, Florida; niece, Allyson Schwartz Mazer; great-nephew, Jonah Mazer and great-niece Ella Mazer; all of Los Angeles, California; his great-niece, JoAnna Palumbo of New Jersey and his beloved cats, Taylor, Darby and Anna Rose.
