Robert Rentfrow Obituary

Robert "Bob" Keith Rentfrow of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on August 18, 2015 at the age of 71. He was the second son born to parents, Melvin Foster and Margaret Alice (née Tiebaut) Rentfrow in Pontiac, MI on January 27, 1944. As a child, Bob enjoyed boy scouts, playing tennis and always excelled in academics. Bob earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Wayne State University, a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from McGill University and a PhD in Psychology and Education from the University of Michigan all by the age of 26. Bob embraced the American Dream and had a successful and rewarding career aiding under-served children and families through educational psychology. Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret (Nov. 11, 1965); brother, Russell Edward (Sept. 8, 1966) and father, Melvin (Feb. 25, 1997). Bob is survived by his former wife, Doris Katherine "Kathie" Logan (née Krantz); his daughter, Heidi Lynne Crawford and husband, Simon; son, Gregory Russell Rentfrow and wife, Kirsten (née Hart) and grandchildren, Carly Ann, Lilly Katherine, Nolan Duke Crawford and Ashley Addison Rentfrow. A Celebration of Life Memorial and Columbarium Interment will be held at Tanque Verde Lutheran Church on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tanque Verde Lutheran Church Preschool at 8625 E. Tanque Verde Rd., Tucson, AZ 85749.
