Robert Sulzbach Obituary

Robert "Bob" Glenn Sulzbach, 86, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on May 1, 1938, in Barberton, Ohio, Bob spent much of his life dedicated to serving his community and cherishing his family.

A graduate of Tucson High School and the University of Arizona, Bob embarked on a distinguished career with the Tucson Police Department where, as a young detective, he first met his wife, Rae Anne. Over the course of 29 and a half years, he served with honor and commitment, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked alongside and the community he protected.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Rae Anne Sulzbach; his daughters Michelle (Keith) McCrocklin and Debbie Sulzbach; his son Rob (Sandy) Sulzbach; and his cherished grandchildren: Tristan and Jadon McCrocklin, and Bobby and Gabriella Sulzbach. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters Elaine Baldini and Beverly Zanella.

A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge Hall, 3445 N. Dodge Blvd, in Tucson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Foundation or one of Bob's favorite charities: Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude's, SmileTrain, or Gospel Rescue Mission.

Bob's legacy of service and devotion will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
