Until I read about the trial in the paper this week, I had no idea that David was gone. I taught him during his 8th grade year at Pistor. I remember him well...he was smart, funny and always trying to get away with something. He was one of the students that I thought of often. I knew David had great things in his future and I am saddened to think that he didn't get the chance to show the world what he was capable of. My prayers are with him and with you, his family.

Hey mijo, life has been so tough without you in our lives. Oh before I forget my Steelers Won the SUPERBOWL. Your being gone has created such a void in many lives and things are just not the same. I do thank God and your mom for the 17 years we got to be in your life and all the great memories you left behind. It is funny that I know your gone but yet I still have that ray of hope that this is all such a bad dream. The hardest part in my living is knowing that I will never physically be able to touch and hold you. I will continue praying and talking to you because I know you are looking down on me. Hey big head, I miss you so much my life is so different without you, it feel like apart of me is gone. My days seem to go by slower, it hurts but am trying to be strong. I just want this to all be a dream. Its really hard, and i just try to think of all the good times,the long talks on the phone and the nights when you wake me up just to listen to a new song lol. My beloved one & only handsome Son, I will pray to keep my strenghth to go on without you. I always told you I would'nt be able to live without you. You are & will always be my True Love. You are my heart, strenght & motivation. You provided me with the energy to get out of bed each day to take care of what needed to be done. I know your in Heaven with Nana Sally and will be our Angels taking care of all family. A Huge part of my heart has been pulled out of me. David, I still remember all the times you came over with your Aunt Rosie and Cousin Kasey. You were always full of life and energy and made us wish we were a kid again. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
