Hey Bro I sure do miss you. I think of you every day in one way or another. I have taken second look at some men when they look so much like you. It's hard without you and my dad gone. I'm doing the best I can with mom. But I could sure use some help with her. I pray that you, Rene and dad are looking down on all of us. I can't believe you been gone for two years. I love you my Bro.

Bro, I miss you dearly, especially those crazy times we went through together. The good old days when we use to go hunting and camping. Everytime was a different adventure. There was always gut busting laughter, even when we would work together on our cars and trucks. Humor was always in the air. I miss your craazy endless faces you use to make. Your dumb jokes, your funny ones, and how you were alway's there when I needed you help, and when we would just kick back in your shop and have a cold one or two,and watch sports on your shop tv. All that's gone now but the memories will linger in my heart and soul forever, Miss you little brother. Tu Carnal, Sandy P.S. The Indianapolis trips were especially memorable. Your with the Jefito now.

Hey pops. I think about you everyday. Every time I look up at the stars its like you're there right next to me and together we absorb the immensity of the cosmos and all its mysteries -just as we did when I was a child sitting on your tailgate. Chillin with you outside brought many comforting times, and I always drift to those memories when times are rough.
Overall, I think mostly about the things you've done and the things you've said. I'll always remember the last conversation I had with you (your words saved me that night and still ring in my mind) I'll also remember all the jokes you've told me...not because they were funny...but because you told them to me EVERYDAY!!!!! ...*sigh* ...I love you, Pops. I'm lucky to have you as my father.

Tio, we will all miss you so, so much.Your caring and humorous ways will stay in my mind and heart forever. I still to this day go down stairs to the fridge around 2 o'clock in the morning, take the can of RediWhip and fill my big ol' mouth! I learned from the best! I have so many great memories. Although I would yell at you, "You're gross Tio!" I secretly enjoyed you kicking me under the dinner table so you could open your incredibly wide mouth and show me the chewed up, nasty food you were eating. I promise to carry on your tradition of slapping a slice of bologna on our bare stomachs, to peel off and eat. I will tell Josiah that his Tio Ruben used to do this. I could sit here all day, remembering all these wonderful memories. I know that you would not want me to cry or be sad, but it is so hard. The entire family will not be the same without you. I pray that Tia Angie is given the strength she needs. Please take care of her, Mari, Nana, and Tata. We love you and miss you so much.

I will always remember Ruben as a fun-loving cousin with a big heart just like his brothers and sister. Angie & Mari, God comfort you while you adjust to life without him near you. The last time I saw Ruben he was doing a very funny impression of Carlos Santana - a great memory I will cherish.

I will always remember Ruben's smiling face and his great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed. I could depend on him telling me everyday at work "I'm only one man" combined with "I'm the hardest working Mexican their is!” He will be remembered for his straight forward approach to issues and his ability to enjoy life to the fullest. We all appreciated everything he did.
