Scott WOODWARD Obituary

WOODWARD, Scott (1975-2017) Our sweet son Scotty passed away suddenly from Pneumonia on April 21, 2017 at TMC. His time on earth was done and he is now in Heaven with raised hands singing loudly off key with the angels in the very special way that only Scotty could. It takes a village to raise a special needs loved one and we are very blessed to have many family and friends who also loved Scott and will miss him dearly. His very presence brightened the room. Our hearts are broken but we are also rejoicing that he is in the arms of Christ, totally whole. We ask that you celebrate his memory with the small things that make you think of him and smile--extending kindness to a special needs person, cheering on the Wildcats, or enjoying one of his favorites...a Costco hotdog or McDonald's breakfast burrito and a large diet coke. We will have a Celebration of Scott's precious life on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon Drive. Please join us for this special time if you can. In lieu of flowers you may donate to The Beacon Group or Arizona Special Olympics. Arrangements by FUNERARIA AZARARES.

Skip and Cyndi,
I know I will continue to glance around while we are setting up the show, expecting to catch a glimpse of Scotty peeking around the corner of a booth. He has for many years been, and will continue to be, a member of our family. Everyone here was heartbroken to hear the news and I am sending you both their love and their prayers.

Skip, Cyndi, Kelly and family, I'm sad because you are sad and I rejoice with you too. Please know that your friends and family share your grief in the sadness of Scotty's death and the sadness of missing him. We also share your joy in knowing that he is in the presence of the Lord and that we will spend eternity together. I can't wait to remind him of the time he "ran away" when I was babysitting him and he packed a suitcase, filled with nothing but underwear (he was only a very young boy at the time). By the time he got to the end of the cul de sac, he'd forgotten why he'd run away (he didn't want to take a bath) and I was able to prompt him to come back home. Now he is really home, in the presence of angels and the Lord our God. May the Holy Spirit bless you with comfort in the midst of your grief. I love your family! Aloha, Kimmy Williams Stiller

glad to have been blessed by your presence!

So sorry to hear of the loss of this faithful soldier of the Lord and co-worker in the Lord's vineyards. Until that sure and certain reunion, Scotty, while still dear in our memories, is at home with the Lord, risen in perfection and worshipping His Savior. May Cyndi, Skip, and family draw nearer to the Lord and receive His comforting embrace at this temporal loss. Dean

A big loss of a terrific guy. His good natured humor and authentic enthusiasm was always contagious. To the Woodward family, and anyone whose lives he touched, we wish you peace during this difficult time. As is echoed here a number of times already, this was a guy who could always put a smile on your face. Rest in peace Scotty. We'll always smile when we think of you.

I am sad to read that Scotty passed, but I agree, he is in a better place, adding his sunshine to Heaven. I only knew Scotty when he was a very young child and I worked at the CP Foundation where he was a student. He was not in my class, but it was always a joy to see him with his sweet personality and happy smile. Please accept my sympathy on your loss.
