He was a strong man. One who always protected his brothers and sisters. Both for his country and always in life. I had the succinct pleasure of being his roommate for several years and always enjoyed his sense of humor. He is now in the embrace of the Great Mystery.

I had the privilege of knowing Steve for over 20 years. Steve's high moral standards exemplified the word "Marine" and he was proud to have served his country and community. He had a great sense of humor! He was always willing to help out anyone in need which I observed on many occasions. I was proud to have known Steve.

I had the privilege of knowing Steve for over 20 years. I loved his sense of humor! He really exemplified what a Marine is with his good character and high moral standards. He was very humble about his military service and rarely talked about it. I remember that he had a huge heart and would help out anyone in need. I was so proud to have known him.
