Steven Strasser Obituary

Strasser, Steven L.

loving father, son, brother and uncle passed away on February 10, 2022 at the age of 65. He was born on October 10, 1956 in Douglas AZ. He is preceded in death by his father, Earl H. Strasser. He is survived by his son, Sam (Sarah) and daughter, Hannah (James) Mosbrucker; stepdaughter, Elaine; mother, Arabella Strasser; siblings, Bill (Dianne), Terri, Lori (Tony), Kenny, who is like a brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.Initially in the real estate business, Steve owned a construction business in Scottsdale, AZ. He had an uncommonly sophisticated knowledge ofarchitecture and construction that allowed him to provide communities withastonishingly gorgeous upscale homes of grandeur that not only fulfilled hisdreams, but also those of any person viewing his artful work. Steve was always an idyllic dreamer. He pursued his dreams not only through his home building business, but also through his other enterprises including an ice cream parlor and a restaurant. Everything he touched was "first class". Beauty was important to Steve. He wanted everything in his world to be exquisite. There was no one more kind or thoughtful than Steve. He was caring, kind and friendly to all. He extended a hand to anyone in need. The most beautiful things about Steve were his generous, warm smile and caring heart. The love of family was truly the focus of Steve's life. He was especially fond of his children and loved taking care of and spending time with his mother.Steve's passing has left an emptiness in many lives, but he has left us with many warm and joyful memories. He will forever live on in our hearts.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Casa Adobes Church (Barrier Chapel), 10801 N. La Cholla Blvd., Oro Valley. Food and drinks will be served.

My wife and I were extremely saddened to learn of Steve's untimely death.
Steve and I were the best of friends in the later 70's and 80's, and I purchased a home in Tucson at Mountain Shadows from him when he worked for the Estes Company.
He attended my wedding in 1982, and we enjoyed many ski trips together.
We drifted away from each other when he moved to Scottsdale, but I often wondered how he was doing.
Ironically, my wife and I were just talking about him while we were skiing yesterday.

He was the crush of my heart for a lifetime. His eyes and smile could melt metal. Love watching him race motorcross with my brother. Great family he has and love Terri so much. Loved watching the love his parents had for each other. You will be missed Mr Steve and thank you for our dates!
