I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Weaver-Woodard's passing. She was my son Jack's doctor when he was born and was instrumental in getting him special medical care and therapy for his unique needs. She was kind and an excellent listener. My heart goes out to her family, especially her husband and children. God bless you with peace.

Dear Jon,
It was with great sorrow that I heard about Susan. As I learn more about her, I learn more about what a special wife and mother your family has lost. Our prayers go out to you and your children.
I spoke to Susan briefly at the reunion and walked away knowing what was important to her- you, her children and her patients. No word about her battling cancer, nothing negative at all. Though I didn't know her well in school, I could see that she was still sweet and still caring-that hadn't changed after so many years.
May God bring peace and comfort to you, Kendall, Emily and Ethan and both of your families.

Dear Woodard Family,
Several CDO classmates, including myself, have been praying for your peace and comfort in the days ahead. After reading her obituary and the things others have said, she was a well accomplished, friendly, giving and loving person who will be greatly missed. I knew who she was in school but did not know her well, however -My heart is sadden by her death and I will continue to pray for you all. "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; What is essential is invisible to the eye.

My deepest sympathies to the Weaver-Woodard families for the loss of Susan. I feel so fortunate now that I had an opportunity to visit with Susan in March while in Phoenix at a UA event. We had a wonderful conversation and I especially enjoyed getting caught up with her and hearing great stories about her children and Jonathon (it had been a number of years since I had last seen her).I will always remember her optomism and hopefulness as she battled this cancer. What an amazingly inspirational woman she has been and I am grateful to have known her.

To all of the Weavers and Woodards, but especially to Jon, Kendall, Emily and Ethan,
Susan was an incredible life force who warmed us with her presence whether we met her once or 1000 times. Her battle with cancer was a heroic lesson in humility and strength. Her passing will be a tremendous loss for many of us, but my heart goes out especially to you her family, as you cope with her absence from your lives. May her example and love be with you always until you see her again in heaven.
With deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers, Joe Mikitish

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Weaver-Woodard's passing. My children were patients at the Gilbert office of Mesa Pediatrics and we loved her kind, patient, gentle manner. I can't imagine what Jonathan, Kendall, Emily and Ethan must be feeling and going through at this difficult time. God bless you and hold you in His hands as you face the coming years of your lives with her watching over you from above.

Dear Family:
Susan was an amazing, sweet and caring person. She was always so upbeat and positive. She had a great love for her children and husband and often spoke of them with me on her weekly visits for infusion at her physician's office where I worked. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, especially other patients. My heartfelt prayers go out to you all, especially her little angels - she will always be with you.

Dear Jon, and the Woodard and Weaver Families,
We were so sorry to hear about Susan. For many years we have admired the love and dedication between Susan and Jon, and then to their children. Not many people have been as fortunate to find their soul mate so early in life. We have been blessed to call you friends and share special moments in your lives. We cherish our last visit together in Phoenix last year. We hold you Jon and your children in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
Love,

I was so sad to hear of Susan's passing.
In my heart and mind she will always be young and full of promise. It's bittersweet to know that she lived her life to the extent of all that potential but that it was cut short far too soon.
My prayers are with her family and loved ones.

Dear Family of Susan Rachelle Weaver-Woodard,
You don't know me but I was so touched by reading the story of your precious loved one and I wanted to express my sympathy of her loss from your lives.
I do understand your pain because I lost my 34 year old daughter to a drunk driver almost 3 years ago. It is much too early for ones so young to go in to their heavenly lives.
Words can never encompass the loss and pain that you are feeling, but I wanted to share with you that Susan is laying her healing hands upon all of you and will help you get through this.
May God bless you all.

I only met Susan once or twice, but she was a very close and special friend of my sister-in-law, Heather Bartlett, who talked of her so often and with such affection that I felt close to Susan too. I have been inspired by Susan’s relentless courage, determination and optimism in her fight against breast cancer, and I am shocked and deeply saddened by her sudden passing. My thoughts are with the Weaver and Woodard families and with the friends whose lives I know Susan enriched.
