Vincent Luciano Obituary

Vincent Michael Luciano, 73, passed away peacefully in the company of his family on January 22, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on November 24, 1951, Vincent lived a life full of passion and individuality.

A Tucson native, Vincent, a.k.a., Vince, Brud, Bruddy, was one of six children. He grew up on Eastland Street with his extended family as neighbors, attending St. Ambrose Catholic and Tucson High schools. He was an alum of the Tucson Boys Chorus which gave him the opportunity to travel the country and sing at the White House. As a young man, Vincent inherited a concrete business from his beloved aunt and uncle, Metta and Mike Damento, following Mike's passing. Many will remember Vincent as the owner of Luciano Concrete, as he is renown in the construction community.

Vincent lived life on his terms. He was happiest hiking, bike riding, reading the New York Times, attending baseball games at Hi Corbett Field, cheering for his children and grandchildren at little league games, cooking for family gatherings, watching the New York Yankees, and visiting Pacific Beach every summer. His zest for life was matched only by his determination; as a stage 4 cancer survivor, he demonstrated remarkable resilience and strength.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Jane; his children Angela (Joe) D'Acquisto, Victoria (Patrick) Luciano-Tatro, and Vincent (girlfriend Errin); his six grandchildren, Giacinto, Mary, Patrick, Benjamin, Getulio, and Everett; his siblings, Angela (Peter) Coffee, Susie (Michael) Kennedy, Barbara Luciano (Norman Roper), John (Carolyn) Luciano, and Margaret (Hank) Haight; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Beeman, Matthew Coffee, Carolyn Beeman, Kelly Beeman, Christine Luciano, Casey Beeman, Jacqueline Luciano, Genevieve Berrington, Madeleine Haight, Camille Armanino, Joseph Haight; great-nieces and nephews, Giovanni, Izabella, Vincenzo, Dexter, Theo, Luca, Samantha, Francis, Leo, Theodore; and his son's dog, Mickey. He is predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Mary (Damento) Luciano, and his nephew Christopher Coffee.

A celebration of Vincent's life will be held at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd., Tucson, Arizona 85716, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, and in deep gratitude for the loving care provided in Vincent's final days, the family has asked that donations be made to Peppi's House.

When faced with loss, we aren't just saying goodbye to the person that left us. We are saying goodbye to the part of ourselves that leaves with them. That version of us will never again be, anywhere else, other than in the fondness of our memories.

I sat next to Vincent and his family for many seasons at Hi Corbett Field to watch the Arizona Wildcats - so many great conversations about baseball and family. He was a delight at the games and we enjoyed watching his grandkids grow up over the seasons. My sincere condolences. May his memory be a blessing to all.

I went to St Ambrose with Vince. He was funny smart and kind. Fond memories from childhood of Vince at school. Our families were very involved in building St Ambrose. Our dads all worked on building the swimming pool.
Rest in peace, Vince. Condolences to your family.
