Dear Shari,
Thank you for sending this message because we were unable to get this information before. We were shocked by the death of Bill. He was a truly great friend, and we will miss the contacts with him that we enjoyed so much. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bill since the mid-1950's, even before you and he got married. We were delighted when he came to MA and became our neighbor.
You have our deepest sympathy,
Joe & Mary Lou Hughes

To Shari and Bill’s family:
With deep regret we read the funeral notice in the AZ Star. Bill was quite the handsome sailor!
We knew him as always a “gentleman” and gentle man at Heritage Highlands where we met in 1998, just down the street neighbors. With fond memories, we recall the reuniting of the happy couple after a twenty year separation. True love finds a way to complete the circle, creating new memories to last a life time!
Best wishes to Bill’s children and grandchildren and to Shari who will keep his memory alive in their hearts and minds.
