Donnie Edward Wilhoit

WILHOIT, Donnie Edward, 76, of Tullahoma, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016 at his home with his loving wife by his side. Donnie was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he was a very patient man who loved his church and his church family. He was the owner of Tullahoma Welding from 1964 until 2012, and no matter where he went Donnie always seemed to find someone he knew to talk with. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Myrtle Wilhoit, and his brother, Tommy Wilhoit. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, JoAnne Wilhoit; daughter Kimberly Scott and son-in-law Jamie Scott; son William Wilhoit and fiance' Mona Smith; grandchildren Madelyn Scott, Jarreth Franks, Mary Hannah Scott, Everum Scott, Wesley Scott, Christina Wilhoit, Donnie Wilhoit, Kayla Wilhoit, Katrina Wilhoit, Mariah Brown and Cheyenne Brown Wilhoit; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret Prince and Betty Nicoles; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday Feb. 28, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tullahoma Funeral Home. There will be a funeral service held Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Rolen officiating.
