To the family of Raymond Jones

I am a South Philly cousin of Raymond. My name is Jack Hennessy Jr. and Raymond was my godfather. I am the oldest son of Jack and Ninnie Hennessy. I am very sorry to hear about Raymonds death and will always remember him as a cheerful, funny person with a great sense of humor. I can remember my parents looking forward to his visits to Philadelphia. We always made it a point to see him during his visits. Please accept my sympathy and I will keep Raymond and his family in my prayers.

Sincerely,
Jack Hennessy & family

I am a South Philly relative. We only saw Raymond on his occasional trips up east. He would be travelling to reunions with his Army buddies, and stay with my aunt when visiting. We looked so forward to his visits, he was bigger than life, in real life, and in the stories and sentiments his cousins would relate about him. My mom was one of those cousins that counted Raymond as a brother. I remember the wooden carved gifts he would send up, and still have many of them. Raymond was also a deeply religious man, which was apparent in the goodness he showed to my family. He will surely be missed. My deepest sympathies to all.
