Bobby Mason Obituary

Bobby "Bob" Mason

Aug 1, 1928 - Sep 30, 2025

Bobby Ray Mason, 97, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away September 30, 2025 at Baptist Village in Owasso. He was born August 1, 1928 in Ames OK. Born again in 1965 to follow Christ – An adventure he never regretted.

Bob is preceded in death by son Gary Ray Mason, parents Clifford & Ethel Mason and siblings Pat & Jack Mason.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Ruth, of 72 years. Daughter Linda and husband John Rhue and grandson Mason Rhue. He leaves behind many family members and friends whom he loved.

Bob grew up in Ames OK and attended Ames High School. He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean War being stationed in Japan. He later attended Tulsa University. After 30 years of service with McDonnell Douglas, he retired in 1994. He enjoyed going on several mission trips with his church, First Southern Baptist Church in Del City, OK. One particular trip to Cambodia held many wonderful memories.

Bob was an avid reader but his most treasured book was the Bible. One of his favorite verses was Psalms 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble."

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Grace Hospice for their comfort, support, and special care during this time.
