Dear John, Patricia and Arnold: I share in your grief in your loss of your wonderful mother. She was indeed a jewel. She was so proud of "her boys" and Pat, she loved you as her daughter. You all were so dear to her, and all the love you showered on her was her greates joy. I feel so prvileged to have known her all these years and for all the fun times she, my mother and I shared on visits and trips both in Tulsa, Norway, London, Helsinki, Stockholm and many other fun places we went together. If I should guess what those two wonderful ladies are doing right now, they probably "har en god sterk kopp kaffe sammen". May God bless you. Love from Liv

I have had 2 grandma's in my life. One taught me to jig the other to polka. One taught me to cook folksy the other fancy. Both taught me to love music in all of its forms and having a good time balanced out all of the hard work they both did. Each were independent women who earned respect the hard way, by working for it and not having the "I can't do it" attitude. Each helped to form the woman I am today and I thank them for it. When I was a little girl Grandma Bea would take me to spend the night with her. We would go to the movies or watch TV or cook. It didn't matter which because I loved spending time with her as much as she loved having me. She shared stories of far away Norway and New York and although I've only always wanted to be an "Okie" she helped give birth to my imagination which did and still does take me anywhere I want to go. I lost both of my grandma's in the 1980's, one to death and one to divorce. I'm sorry that I was too stubborn and afraid of being hurt to see if I could have gotten one back. May God forgive me for not at least finding out and telling you how much you meant to me, Grandma Bea. When I see you in heaven I will apologize to you for my pride at the feet of my Savior. My prayer for you now is that you are setting at the feasting table of The Lamb and someone is cooking for you for a change. Arnie my deepest sympathies go out to you and your wife and to you Uncle John. Les and I are truly sorry for your loss. I still love you Grandma.Your granddaughter, Carol
