Chauncey Duncan Obituary

DUNCAN -- Chauncey L. "C.L.", 66, of Tulsa, died Thursday, July 7, 2005. Born January 26, 1939 to D.R. and Laurella M. Duncan. A graduate of Will Rogers High School and the University of Tulsa. He remained very active and close to classmates of both. Married Marlis Lusk on December 27, 1964 and embarked on a career in home building. He is survived by: his wife; three sons, Chauncey Lewis, Jr., John Bradley and Doyt Earl; two daughters-in-law, Erica and Suzanne; four grandchildren, Karlie, Joey, Mikayla and Jeremy; sister, Betty Pauline Cowley; brother, James Richard Duncan of Colorado Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces, nephews and many friends. His smile and loyalty will be greatly missed. Service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2005 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2005, at the funeral home. Moore's Southlawn, 663-2233

I was saddened today when I returned from vacation to receive a message regarding the passing of C.L. We were childhood friends and shared many happy experiences. It was a treat to talk to him at the Will Rogers reunion this past fall. My sympathy to the family, Betty Pauline and James Richard
