Cheryl Bost Obituary

Cheryl "Cherie" Jeanine Bost (Cline) (Reyes), 90, passed on August 28th, 2025, at Trinity Woods Retirement Community in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She left this world entering her eternal home with God, remembered for a legacy of love, laughter, and grace.

Cherie's life was marked by faith, kindness, and a deep devotion to her family. She was giving, and always ready to show up for others with strength, dignity, and light. She had a gift for seeing the good in people and treating them with the same kindness she carried in her heart.

Born June 25, 1935, in Hammond, Indiana, to Armon and Jeanine Bost, Cherie was the oldest of five children and naturally stepped into the role of caretaker: responsible and resilient. Her father's Army career meant the family moved often before settling in Tulsa, where she graduated from Central High School in 1953. She later attended Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State University), pledged Chi Omega, and formed lifelong friendships.

While in college she met Lewis Richard "Dick" Cline, and they married in 1955. Together they raised three children - Christy, Colleen (Saba), and Casey - in a home filled with love, support, and encouragement.

Cherie remarried later in life to Edmund Reyes, and together they built a life in Cambria, California, then Sedona and Cottonwood, Arizona. One of Cherie's greatest joys was being "Nana." She delighted in her five grandchildren - Lacey, Carly, Nicoa, Kylie, and Kami - and great grandson, Oden - spoiling them, playing games, and keeping them laughing with her wit, sass, and spark.

Her faith remained her anchor throughout her life. From her roots at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church to every community she lived in, she lived out her belief in God through kindness, care, and generosity.

She is survived by her children, Christy Cline Taylor, Colleen "Saba" Cline, and Casey Cline; her sisters, Beverly Golden and Merrilee Bost; her grandchildren, Lacey Faith Ruggles, Carly Taylor Allen, Nicoa Cline, Kylie Cline, and Kamryn Cline; her great grandchild, Odin Allen; and sisters-in-law, Donna Bost and Cherry Bost. She was preceded in death by her parents, Armon and Jeanine Bost; her brothers, Bob and Jim; and her brother-in-law, Tom Golden.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.

Cherie loved chocolate milkshakes, games, laughter, and her family, and left behind countless good memories. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love, gratitude, and joy.

I grew up in the neighborhood with the Cline family. Mr. & Mrs. Cline were wonderful people that were always kind and welcoming.
