Craig Adams Obituary

ADAMS - Craig Robert, age 44, passed away on October 19, 2009. He was born June 23, 1965, in Tulsa, OK, to Robert Charles Adams and Carolyn Adams Barnes. Craig was preceded in death by his father and younger brother, Bradley Charles Adams. He leaves in God's care his wife, Kari Lynn Gensler Adams; mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Jerral Barnes; aunt, Ann Paris; uncle William K. Ward and wife Sallie; and cousins, Gary Allen Ward, Wendy Lou Ward, Jay Andrews Paris, Dianna Michelle Hall and husband Richard, Suzanne Paris Lowe and husband Mike, Sherry Martin, and son Trey Garrison. In addition, Craig is loved and remembered by Kari's dear relatives and the lifelong friends and co-workers of the Adams couple. A resident of Tulsa and Norman, OK and Houston, TX for most of his life, Craig earned his B.A. degree in political communication and production operations management from the University of OK where he was a Merit Scholar and member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He had worked in Houston for over 20 years for Rose Electronics (1989-2007) and National Oilwell Varco (2007 to present) in project management of oil and gas procurement and international supplier interaction/negotiation. Craig was a passionate Oklahoma Sooner supporter. As a scholar, he immersed himself in all genres of literature, film, and music for which he amassed a vast collection. As hobbies, he enjoyed golf, motorcross, and Texas barbequing. A visitation was held at 6 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m., at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, 111 East Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Craig's honor to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Gone but not forgotten
