Dan Schusterman Obituary

SCHUSTERMAN -- Dan, 79, died Sunday, April 23, 2006. Born January 29, 1927, in Tulsa, OK, to Sam and Sarah Schusterman. A graduate from Central High School in 1945 and from the University of Oklahoma in 1949, with a degree in Geological Engineering. Dan was married for 56 years to Gloria Jacobson Schusterman. He worked in the oil and real estate businesses in Tulsa. Dan was active in many charities and held the office of Chairman of the Tulsa Chapter of the American Red Cross and President of the Tulsa Chapter of the United Jewish Appeal Campaign. Survivors include wife, Gloria Schusterman; son, Dale Schusterman; daughter, Carol Wilson; 4 grandchildren, Melanie, Jeffrey, Mark and Julia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Israel Guide Dogs in care of Leventhal, 732 Settlers Circle, Warrington, PA 18976 or Hospice of Palm Beach County, 533 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407. A Graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2006, in the New B'nai Emunah Section of Rose Hill Cemetery. The Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 585-1151.

We are grateful to have known Dan as neighbor at the Shangri-La Chateau. Our best to Gloria,the best Crappie fisherwomen in the area,that the God of Moses, Isaac and Jacob will sustain you at this loss.
