Ed Walden Obituary

Ed Walden

Ed was born October 29,1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Sidney and Margaret Walden. He joined his Heavenly Father on July 8, 2021. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School, attended Northeastern University and served in the U.S. Army. He married and had two sons. He later married his wife, Pam. Ed's career with American Airlines began in 1967 and he retired in 2009. Throughout intermittent layoffs, he worked in oil field supply sales.

Ed loved his faith, family, friends, neighbors and work. He enjoyed many interests including travel, home improvement projects, car racing (Daytona 500!), anything with an engine, especially Corvettes and his fur babies, Gracie and Gladys. Ed truly enjoyed life! He was a member of Fellowship Lutheran Church, Masonic Delta #425 Lodge and Tulsa Vette Set. Ed considered it a privilege to serve his family, community and country. We thank God for the gift of his life!

Ed was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian and sister, Lisa.

He is survived by his wife, Pam; son, Troy; grandsons, Cole and Christian; cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
