Harold Raymond Clem

CLEM -- Harold Raymond, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2005 in Florida. He was born March 12, 1946 in Shawnee, OK, graduated from Tulsa Central and attended OSU before signing a baseball contract with the Pittsburg Pirates in 1965, and later played with the Philadelphia Phillies. He gave speeches in Tulsa Public Schools along with baseball gifts from the parent club. He served 6 months at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps base in North Carolina in 1965. After baseball he remained in Florida and developed HALCON Aluminum Industries. Married Marlas Jean Douglas of Florida in 1973 and leaves a daughter, Kerry Ann and a son, Brian Douglas; his mother, Irene Radcliffe of Tulsa; brothers, Larry Clem and wife, Susan of Oregon, Jerry Clem and wife, Linda of Texas; sisters, Kathryn and husband, Larry England of Claremore and Sheila Thomason of Tulsa; and many other relatives. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Southern Hills Baptist Church on Monday, October 10, 2005.
