To the entire Makar family- the Hood girls are so sorry for your loss. Your parents were loving people who enriched our lives in so many ways. Your father was a great role model and a father figure in my life. I know he was loved by many, and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To all the great Makar Clan. I have been trying to reach Nancy, Markus etc. We were out of town during the funeral and am so very sorry i missed it. You dad was an amazing man and i remember our parents being very close. I spent countless hours at the house and miss Margot and Your dad so much. I was at OU when John left me a note saying mom had passed. I still have the note. Mr makar was so passioate about everything but most of all on passing on the great qualities that he had to all of you. He was like my dad was, terrified, of the big world out there and to make sure his kids were prepared. He was a great dad and so caring to a fault. Tough but fair and above all honest and loving. How lucky we all were to have such great role models to try to live up to. I know i fall short every single day. The Duenners were truly blessed by god to have known all of you. Dear Marcus and Makar families...
I was sorry to read about your dad, but apparenty he lived quite the long and fruitful life -- which is a blessing... Some of you may know that your Grandmother Lockwood and my Grandmother Rosalind Morgan were the 1st President and Vice-President of the Tulsa Junior League -- respectively.
We actually have a history together as longtime Tulsa folk....

Thinking of all of you at this time.
