Marilyn Stone Obituary

Marilyn Lee (McKinney) Goumaz Stone

Marilyn Lee (McKinney) Goumaz Stone went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born January 16, 1934, in Tulsa to the late Forrest Lee and Daisy Agnes (Shelton) McKinney.

Marilyn was a 1952 graduate of Will Rogers High School, Tulsa, and married her high school sweetheart, Robert Gene Goumaz. After his death in 1998, she married Warren Miller Stone in 2001, who passed away in 2020.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tulsa and was a devoted Christian. She worked at Tulsa Public School for many years before retiring from American Airlines in 1996.

She loved watching her grandkids and great grandkids doing anything and everything. She was a voracious reader, master at crossword puzzles, and skilled game player who, sadly for her opponents, seldom lost. She will be missed by her family and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; sisters, Madeline Harris and Mildred Robison.

Survivors include her daughters, Laura (Kenny) Flebbe, Lisa (Robert) Hess, both of Owasso; son, Robert Jr. (Dawn) Goumaz of Tulsa; six grandchildren, Jeremy Flebbe, Kendra (Ronnie) Butler, Michael (Tara) Hess, Angela (Jason) Holt, Joe (Sarah) Goumaz, and Kelly (AJ) McElroy; great grandchildren, Zayden Flebbe, Kaylyn and Landon Butler, Ellie and Brodrick Hess, Jake and Max Holt, Garrett and Thomas Goumaz, Grayson and Everly McElroy. Also survived by sister-in-law, Marilyn Tucker of Claremore; many cousins; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held August 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., Moore Southlawn Chapel, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233. Share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
