Dr Stees was one of my attendings in St Louis during my internship. He made a huge impact on me and the way I practice my craft. I have thought of him often through the years and am grateful I knew him.

A true role model Dr. Stees. Embodied the adage: A physician cures sometimes, relieves often and comforts always.

Sue, we are so sorry for Tom's passing. He was truly inspirational as much as you are. Someone who helped with the children in Uvalde said this about grief: "Grief never ends ... but it changes. It´s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love." You and Tom were so obviously in love with each other, and your grief is immeasurable. Sending you a big, big hug. XO

My deepest condolences to the family. Tom Stees was a man amount men. He was a healer, teacher, trusted colleague and left a mark on the lives of his students, interns, residents and patients. I have a million memories of time spent with him and I valued every moment.
