Wayne Graham Obituary
Wayne Graham, a resident of Jay and Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at his home on Grand Lake. Wayne was born in Jay on May 11, 1937, to Bluford and Dora (Lackey) Graham. He grew up in Jay and attended Jay schools. He later moved to Tulsa, where he successfully worked as a general contractor for thirty-two years. In 1958, Wayne married his high-school sweetheart, Marilyn Cline, who he always called "the prettiest woman he had ever seen."
In his spare time, Wayne loved to fish, hunt, work on projects in his shop, and visit with family and friends. He loved to travel often, and his favorite trips were to Alaska with Marilyn, to see family in California, and to hunt and fish with friends. When Wayne wasn't traveling, he would spend the majority of his time on Grand Lake entertaining loved ones.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Bluford & Dora (Lackey) Graham; and siblings, Lucille (Graham) Curtis, Elmer Graham, Delmer Graham, Ina (Graham) Beck, Novita (Graham) Kirby, Juanita (Graham) Denny, Louise (Graham) McKenzie, Paul Graham, J.D. Graham, and Verna Lee Graham.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Cline) Graham; children, Mark & Joyce (Harrison) Graham; Lori (Graham) & Michael Conger; five very-loved grandchildren, Jacob Graham; Morgan Conger; Josh & Roxanne (Yazdani) Graham; Kelsey Conger; Jordan Graham; one great-grandson, Easton Graham; sister Wilma Brown; and a host of beloved family and friends.
A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be held in Wayne's honor at Jay First Baptist Church, 503 N. 4th St., Jay, OK 74346 on Saturday, February 12th at 2:00pm. Wayne's service will conclude at the Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK. 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff
