Billy Fields Obituary

FAYETTE Billy Fields, age 70, of Fayette, died Oct. 13, 2008, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Cargile officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell-Rosehill Cemetery with Nelson Funeral Home directing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Sellaber Fields, his brother, Phillip Fields and his sister, Bonnie Fields.

Survivors included his wife, Serdia Fields of Fayette; his daughter, Tammy (Bill) Gibson of Roscoe, Mont.; his son, Billy (Cindy) Fields of Fayette; his sister, Joan (Ronald) Watts of Fayette; his step-sisters, Sybil Thacker of Berry and Annie Swindle of Fayette; his brothers, George W. (Hazel) Fields of Tuscaloosa, Donald (Helen) Fields of Fayette, and Kenneth Fields of Fayette; his sister-in-law, Betty Fields of Fayette; his five grandchildren, Andrea (David) Harbin, Kelly Busby, Sarah Fields, Tammy Dotey-Fields, and Cullen Lee.

Pallbearers will be Thomas, Tim, Rusty, Josh, Justin and Jason Fields, Jeff Hisaw, and Danny Taylor.
