Elmira Christopher-Poss Obituary
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Stockbridge and long time Sunday school teacher of the Willing Workers Class.
Mrs. Poss was predeceased by her husband, V.J. Poss and is survived by her sons, David (Marie) Poss of Mullins, S.C., Chris (Kathy) Poss, Elton (Lisa) Poss, both of Stockbridge; daughters, Marsha (Steve) Cash of Stockbridge, Leslie Poss of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alice Neisler of Austell, Esther Poss of Lithonia, Doris Ellis of Cumming; brother, Larry Christopher of Norcross and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2006, at The First Baptist Church of Stockbridge with Rev. Steve Murell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Caring Days for Alzheimer's Care, P.O. Box 3049, Tuscaloosa, AL 35403.
