Daddy..I want you to know that I was there. I held your hand, rubbed your foot, looked your clothes over, and kissed your forehead. I feel lost knowing your not here. Don't worry, we will all take care of Mama. I want you to know your service was a good one. The church was so full! We dressed you in your overalls and a flannel shirt. We placed your coffee cup, your Navy Seal hat, and even placed a rose from the edge of the porch in your hand. When you see Granny, please give it to her and hug and kiss her for me. When you see Mawmaw, hug and kiss her for me too. I love and miss you more than words can ever express, so until we meet again, rest in peace and I love you!

Well Daddy I have went home and am now back here in California. I want you to know that i was there, i held your hand, rubbed your foot, and fussed over your clothes and made sure all was good to go. Jenn and Tyler came with me, Cody was unable to make it though. He had some stuff he was unable to miss with starting college. You looked so peaceful. We dressed you in your overalls and a flannel shirt. we placed your glasses, your coffee cup, and your navy seal hat in with you. we also put a rose from the edge of the porch in your hand. please give it to granny and give her a hug and kiss for me. if you see mawmaw hug and kiss her for me too. I want you to know that you had a beautiful service. the church was absolutely full of people! some i knew, some i didn't, some i haven't seen in a long time. don't worry about mama, we will look after her and make sure she is OK. i hope you were proud of me. i tried to take some of your advice and apply it in my own life. i stuck with the navy because i didn't want to quit and let you down. I feel a bit lost knowing your not here. I love you more than words can ever express. Until we meet again, rest in peace, and I miss and love you! Your oldest son...
