Confident and adaptable, Joshua pursued opportunities throughout his life that showcased his ability to lead as well as highlighted his love for adventure.

My heart grieves for your loss. I have many memories of my nephews, Reid and Heath, talking about Joshua and the good times they enjoyed together growing up. I pray the Comforter will be always present with you and that His grace will sustain you.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful son. I have the fondest memories of him playing football with all the other kids and was always awed by how much they had grown from year to year. He and my Kate were the same age and you may know that she was murdered by a drunk driver last year so I know devastation that you now face. All my love to you Patti and Rusty and your family. Love, Jamey, Kate, Madison and Grace.

I I met Cloud two summers ago while my mother and I were visiting my brother, who was A white water raft thing guide with Cloud. My brother couldn't wait to introduce me to his friend and colleague Cloud. My brother has a hearing impairment that developed later in life and was self-conscious about it. He explained to me that he had met somebody that also suffers from a hearing impairment. He had never met someone that was so confident in their skin and excepting of their disabilities. Cloud showed my brother how to adapt and except their disability with confidence and courage. The two days I spent with Cloud and my brother along the river rafting, laughing, and sharing great memories Will be ingrained in my mind forever. Thank you Cloud for showing me and everyone that ever got the pleasure to meet you at the skies the limit no matter what your Disability or downfalls maybe. ❤❤

I am remembering Josh as a third grader in my class years ago. He was an amazing student, loving to learn all that was possible! He was a leader in the classroom and was blessed with wisdom beyond his years. I was also able to teach his younger sister, Katie, who blessed everyone with her smile and her kind heart, so much like her mother's. May God gently hold the Cloud family closely in His strong arms, and may He whisper His peace into their hearts.

When my family moved to Farragut from out of state and my son began attending youth group, Josh was the first to make my son feel welcome. I cannot overstate how much that meant to my son...and to me. Although I was battling serious illness and did not get the opportunity to meet Josh, I appreciated the way he so quickly befriended my son. I heard Josh's name spoken often, always with great respect. In a video of a mission trip my son went on, I got to see Josh. The Spirit of Christ radiated theough him as he worked and laughed and interacted with all the youth. I could see why my son spoke so highly of him. We're praying heartily for his family, girlfriend, and other loved ones. We know Josh is okay now. He is safe in the arms of Jesus. But we are grieving and we know his closest loved ones have to be grieving even more. Please feel our appreciation for Josh and the way he lived his life, and know that we'll never stop praying for you, his most precious loved ones.
