Karon Leonard Obituary
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles B. Leonard; and mother, Dorothy N. Leonard.
Survivors include her son, David Hunter Windle of Roswell, Ga.; brothers, Michael Leonard and Kenneth Leonard, both of Northport, Ala.
Ms. Leonard was born in Northport, Ala. She graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School and Tennessee Valley Business College. She played an important role in raising her family after the passing of her mother at a young age. She was an extremely loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. Her giving spirit showed throughout her entire life, as she was able to create a great impact on several individuals through the gift of organ donation. She will be remembered for always putting others' needs before her own and the vibrant smile and sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests that donations be made in her honor to the Alabama Organ Center or The Brain Research Foundation.

I am so sad to hear of Karon's passing. I had not seen her for a year or two. Hunter and my two sons were very good friends when they were young. I am saddened to hear this and sad for Hunter. Prayers for all.
