Misha Allen Obituary

FAUNSDALE Misha Curtis Allen, age 8, of Faunsdale, died Oct. 22, 2011, at Children's of Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Uniontown with Father Bryan Hatchett, The Rev. Dr. Glenda Curry, and The Rev. George McKee officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Faunsdale with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

He was born November 21, 2002, in Tula, Russia.

Survivors include his parents, Curtis Gray and Elizabeth Ann Rankin Allen; his sisters, Suzanne Allen Schmidt (Larry) of Clarksdale, Miss., Aileen Allen Litwiller (Eric) of Center, Colo., and Anne Curtis Allen of Center, Colo.; his niece, Kara Schmidt; and his grandparents, William and Lucille Rankin of Faunsdale, Joyce Reid of Fayetteville, N.C., and Ruth Allen of Gallion; along with many other family members who loved him dearly.

Pallbearers will be Joel Ratcliff, George Rankin, Sammy Agee, James Agee, Allen Agee, and James Henton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Misha's memory – The Misha Allen Memorial Fund, Robertson Banking Company, P.O. Box 490, Demopolis, AL 36732, Attn.: Mr. Rick Dunn.
