He was preceded in death by his son, Rickey Lee St. John; his mother, Carol Sue Appling; and his father, Woody Lee St. John.
Survivors include his son, David Dewayne St. John; the mother of his children, Linda Ann Walters; his brother, Ronnie Lee St. John; and his nephews, Ronnie Lee "Bubba" St. John, Jr. and Joey Lee St. John.

Raynond StJohn was one of my best friends almost like a brother. I haven't seen him in several years. It was heartbreaking to hear that he passed away. He will be forever remembered in my heart. For the family: If David needs anything please don't hesitate to call me 205-799-1773.

I went to school with Raymond and my heart and prayers goes out to his family. Just keep in mind that we only live a short time here on earth but we live an eternity in the kingdom of heaven.
