Sandra Colburn

TUSCALOOSA Sandra Colburn, age 50, of Tuscaloosa, died Sept. 13, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be noon today at Safe Harbor Baptist Church with Joel Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Catherine Wall Whipple and Thomas and Mamie Colburn; her parents, Thomas G. Colburn and Audrey Colburn; her brother, Larry Colburn; and her sister, Barbara Sudsberry.

Survivors include her sisters, Wanda Honeycutt of Double Springs and Elizabeth Baird (Tom) of Elm Grove, La.; her brother-in-law, Oscar Sudsberry; her nieces, Kasie Gibson, Kelley Honeycutt, Tabbitha White, Micki Sudsberry, and Rebecca Baird; her nephew, Tommy Sudsberry; two great-nieces; and five great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Sudsberry, Greg Marcum, James R. Colburn, Terry Colburn, Steve Colburn, Jeff Colburn, Jason Henly, Carlos Perez, and Billy Henly.

Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Heritage Nursing Home, MICU staff at DCH Regional Medical Center, residents of Greenwood Circle, Dr. Burdett and associates, and Dr. Aldridge and associates.
