Toni Johnson Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, James Marion Johnson, Sr. of Northport, Ala.; daughters, Sherry Whitten (Thomas) of Fyffe, Ala., Shannon Johnson of Northport, Ala. and Cindy Pinion of Northport, Ala.; sons, James Marion Johnson, Jr. (Sandy) of Northport, Ala. and Bryan Johnson of Northport, Ala.; sisters, Gail Waldecker and Jackie Alexander; brother, William H. ""Butch"" Parker (Barbara) of Brighton, Mich.; parents, Agnes and Dick Alexander, William H ""Buds"" Parker and Erline and Eckford LeSueur; grandchildren, Tiffany Franklin (Ryan), Parker Whitten (Alyssa), Kolton Johnson and Andrew Whitten; and great-granddaughter, Ella Franklin.
Toni worked for over 30 years at Heritage Health Care taking care of her special patients that she truly loved with all of her heart. She was married to the love of her of her life for 53 years. She was a wonderful mother of four, grandmother of four and great-grandmother of one.
Toni was raised in Samantha by Erline and Eckford LeSueur. Over the years, if she wasn't working at the nursing home, she was cooking for family or visiting with those she loved the most. Love was the biggest word in her vocabulary. She loved everyone and truly had a heart of gold.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cash, Ryan Franklin, Kolton Johnson, Robert Long, Jimmy Lunceford, Andy Oswalt, Andrew Whitten and Parker Whitten.
Honorary pallbearers are her work family and friends of Heritage Healthcare and Rehab, Ronnie Sanders, Dr. Bobby and Peggy Babb, Brother Randall Trimm, Dr. Browne, Dr. Alldredge, Dr. Lucy and staff of Northport MICU (Gail, Michael, Scott, Blake, Rudy, Rachael, Krista and Samantha), staff and volunteers at Hospice of West Alabama, family and friends of the Samantha Community and neighbors of Huntington Place Subdivision.

I did Toni's hair for several years and she was always a genuinely great person. I moved away from the Northside area and lost contact. She always spoke lovingly about all her family. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
