I still think of you Alex...going to school together, playing football in the neighborhood or quarry park to play basketball ball. That week you left we had a good time play tiger woods with Kyle and the boys. I remember when we broke your mom bucket bobbing for apples at your Halloween party and Luke was dressed like sonic. I was just having a tough day an wanted to share. Thank you friend I will never forget you.

Dan and Kim,

I am so sorry to be writing to you tonight and wish I had been with you for the service. Every time I think of Alex playing baseball, I can only see his smile. Billy Graham addressed the families and the citizens of Oklahoma City stating we will never know or understand God's plans for any one of us. Perhaps Alex's role was to make us smile each summer watching him play ball. I wish I could have spent more time smiling with Alex. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Dan, Kim and Family

I was out of town when I received the news, I can't imagine the pain your family must be going thru.

I remember Alex for driving our son Kevin to school every day. When Kevin was sick a few weeks ago, Alex came over with Subway Sandwiches and played video games with him for a few hours. That is the last time I saw him. He will be missed dearly by our family.

Prayers for your strength during this sad time. I trust family and friends will provide a full portion of support and encouragement for each of you. I missed Alex's teen years, so

I'll remember him as a youngster who loved to be with his dad playing catch or hitting a curving wiffle ball that Dan was teaching him to hit. Our children's lives have so much potential I am sorry to hear his life was so short.

I am so very sorry to hear about Alex. I can remember watching a movie in your family room and Alex was sitting right next to his mom on the couch all cuddled up, with his arm around her. I am a friend of Lauren's from grade school and everytime I went over to the O'Brien's, Alex was always the sweetest boy, with a smile that just stood out. Please know that your family is in my prayers. Lots of Love.

Dear Dan, Kim and Family,

When I think of Alex I think of him pumping his arms as he ran down the first base line and having a smile on his face whether he was safe or out. He was ALWAYS respectful to adults and popular with his team mates and just an overall great kid. He truly was a special person.

I can only imagine what a painful time this must be for Kim, Dan and family. Zan and I wish you all of God's blessings.

O'Brien Family,

I remember Alex fondly as I grew up with him spending time at your house and he at ours. When he transfered to St. Joe's the good times only continued. He, Gina, Colin, Meghan, Amy and I enjoyed many laughs especially over the summer when we saw each other nearly everyday. He is greatly missed in this household.

My Sympathies,

Wendy

Alex was a "regular" in our home. He would come over nearly everyday and treated everyone with kindness and respect. We remember him playing basketball and hockey in the driveway and just "chillin" with the boys. Alex was always there whether it was a ride to Mickey D's or letting the dogs out. He even stopped in the kitchen every time he was here to talk to our mom. We will forever miss you and seeing your red car in our driveway. You are in a better place. You were an angel then and you're an angel now. Watch over us from whatever view you have. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU ALWAYS.

I remember Alex's beautiful smile. He was always ready to help others out. We were neighbors for a short timew and he was a joy to have around. He loved taking care of our parrots and our dog Zorba when we were not around. The O'Briens are more than just neighbors to the Theros family as we consider them our own "adopted" family. Our hearts are heavy with the void of loss, but as Christians we know we will see Alex again and we also know God is taking good care of him now and always.
