I attended the Silent Retreat at King’s House for 20+ years and I always looked forward to seeing Father Al and hearing his jokes at the final luncheon of the retreat. He is truly missed! Praying for comfort and peace for his loved ones.

Father Al was a wonderful priest and a great Oblate. I suspect he is probably telling a joke to St. Eugene de Mazenod right now.

All the years I have attended the Women's Silent Retreat at Buffalo King's House, I always looked forward to catching up with Fr. Al! His friendly greetings, his great sense of humor, his spiritual guidance, his great restaurant recommendations, and his wonderful jokes will truly be missed. May God bless him and his loved ones.
