Baba aka Uncle Art was a wise man, a no nonsense type of man, an honorable man, a character, some would even say a bit mischievous, he was one who loved to debate, where he always managed to stay one step ahead of you. When you saw that "twinkle" in his eyes, you knew he was up to something.
He conquered many obstacles and won EVERY arm wrestling match.
Jake and I had the pleasure of spending a couple of weekends with him. I remember sitting down and watching Lawrence Welk, one of his favorite shows. I enjoyed it too, so much, it brought back fond memories of watching it with my folks. Oh and he loved Judge Judy too, he had his own way to say her name I think it was, Judgey Judy or Judy Judgey. I can't recall because he would say it differently everytime! Oh and no worries, we got in a few episodes of that too. It is wonderful to have these sweet memories and so many more. SO MANY MORE! Jake will forever cherish sitting and chatting with him. He loved listening to all his stories and his memories.
He will be missed by many. Restful sleep dear Uncle it is well deserved. Let your spirit guide you. Never goodbye. We'll see you later. Have fun dancing. We love you.
All my love,
Vicki
