I am sorry I should have helped when you called that night I have been beating myself up for the past 4 and a half years. I loved you Audene. I never said it but I did. Alot of me died when you left. It will soon be a year since the time of Audene's passing and remember the "phone call" like it was just yesterday (as I'm sure you do). I know this has been, by far, a very difficult year for all of you. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and have heartfelt sympathy for the loss you have all shared. I didnt know Audene for long, but the short time that I did get to spend with her we became the best of friends. She touched the lives of all she knew and was the best friend anyone could ask for. She is missed dearly but i know she will always have her own special place inside all of our hearts. I send all my love and sympathy to all her family and friends. I don't know if your family remembers me.. my name is jenna and Audene and I were really close friends for a while. When I got out of my treatment and went to sobriety high she was there welcoming me back with open arms and zero judgment. i just want you to know that i am praying for your famlily and so is the rest of teen challenge a program that i am in. When i found out about Audene's passing i broke down cuz i wasn't able to express to her how much i did appericaite as a friend. i am truely sorry for what has happened.

I was privileged to work with Audene on her writing - as her English teacher at Sobriety High, Audene shared much of herself through her poetry and a one act play that she wrote that I still consider the best piece of writing I've ever seen from a student. Just know that the best of her lives on in so many ways in the lives she touched, and know that your deep sadness is shared by all of us who loved her.

To Audene's family~ I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you all. I didnt know Audene however my fiance was in Detox with her this last time and he just told me today what happend to her. He said that he played cards with her and how much fun she was and that he kept telling her to come to be apart of the impatient program, however she felt like she was going to be OK. He said, he saw Audene again outside the hospital and begged her to come inpatient to get the strength she would need to help her fight her disease and she even told him that her mom was going to bring her some clothes and that she was going to go to impatient. Audene's Family...know that God is watching over you all and that your daughter is in a better place.

When i heard that Audene had passed i was so very saddened. I am very sad to have lost one of my very good friends. Audene was the first person to ever talk to me in my treatment, and the first person to talk to me at Sobriety High. I will never forget her, and will always hold my memories of her close to my heart. I remember once in the dead of winter once I was stranded at your house and me and Audene were so excited to have a sleep over, I was going to teach her how to dance. We had an amazing night that night. Those are one of the many memories I will always enjoy, and never forget. I loved Audene with all my heart, but I know that she is in a better place and God will help us all through this, and you guys will always be in my prayers.

Audene was very bright star in our art class at PEASE. I really enjoyed teaching her and watching her talents blossom. She was a sweet, talented girl with a beautiful smile.

There are no words that can express how saddened I was to hear about Audene's death. I know how hard both of you worked to hold her up and patch her together time after time.
She was a beautiful, loving, talented girl with so much potential if only life hadn't dealt her such a blow. No one can feel someone else's pain and it may be that she just couldn't fight any longer.
