Audrey Elaine WICKS

1924 - 2015

Age 90, formerly of South St. Paul Passed away on December 19, 2015 Audrey was residing at the Golden-Linden Care Center in Stillwater, MN. She was born August 31, 1924, to father Emil Earnest Bott and mother Melvine (Bott) Bondurant in St. Paul, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Dorance Bjorn Wicks. Survived by her son Dorance W. "Shorty" Wicks (Catherine) Waynesville, NC; brother Fred Duc, Greenbay, WI; brother-in-law Billy Wicks (Betty) Waynesville, NC; granddaugheter Natalie Ann Fedie (Rick) Lake Elmo; grandson Eric Conrad Wicks, CO; great-grandsons Luke and Zach Fedie; cousins Dave and Marge Overland (Marty and Krisi) Apple Valley, Carole Copp (Joel, Donna, Robin) Wyoming, MN, Marilyn Roe, Oregon, and niece Patty Bender, St. Paul. Audrey was a working mother and grandmother into her 80's when a bad case of shingles ended her working career. Her last place of employment was Sportsman's Guide in South St. Paul, where she won numerous prizes for being the top seller of the month and they called her "Gram". Audrey and Dorance enjoyed their 40 acre farm and lake home in Mora, MN until the passing of Dorance. She enjoyed babysitting for her great-grandchildren Luke and Zach and also was an avid golfer, and it was said she could be seen at many of the Casino's in Minnesota. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A special thanks goes out to the staff and employees at the Golden-Linden Care Center in Stillwater, for all the care they gave Audrey along with the other residents. Bless you all.
