As years pass by, the humble and loving spirit yous lives on. Maybe this year, more than some in the past, the memory of you has lived on so strong in my heart. We all still pray for you as we all still miss you so much. Time passes by but His time is not one that we can understand as we still try to make sense of so many things in this world. Yet, in time so many things do become more clear. We will wait for that clarity with prayers and love for you and Corey, Troy and Andy. Love you sis.

Memories of you came to mind this past week. I'm not sure I truly thanked you for hiring me from L.A., for asking me to come to the Assumptions team, forgot being upset when I was late or made a mistake. Thank you for being the kind, understanding and genuinely warm person you were and Spirit you still are. I remember you every year and more. Your passing shocked us all. Perhaps this year I miss you more. Hugs to your family and friends. We all miss you! I know you loved your family so very much through your stories you shared. I had the pleasure of working with Barb at GMAC. She was a great person who was loved by many. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of her death. I remember lots of stories about the boys. She loved all of you deeply. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Barb had a smile and a laugh that was geninue and true and she will be greatly missed at GMAC.
My prayers are with the Manning and Knowlton families-may you find peace (eventually) in the wonderful memories and stories knowing that she touched so many lives and was so special to many of us.
I also want to extend my sympathies to those that worked right beside Barb. I know this is truly a difficult time for you as well. It was obvious, even to those of us outside of your department, that she loved working with you guys. She will not be forgotten at GMAC.

Andy and family, I worked with your mom at Commonwealth United. We started together and had a blast together, until she left to Bank of America. What a tragic loss, she was a wonderful woman to know. She will have a friend in heaven (Tim Eagen, former boss) to walk with her. Take comfort.

Our hearts are breaking with you right now. We will always remember sharing the baseball bleachers (or pacing - smile) with Barb, especially our trip to Chicago a few summers ago. We are sorry that we can't get back to Minnesota to attend the funeral today, but we will be in touch as soon as we get back. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

I have worked with Barb for many years at both Bank of America and RFC. She is a great person, loves her family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Where to start...Barb loved her family with all her heart. She talked about you guys all the time. She loved you Andy. Corey and Troy, like everyone said, she was so so proud of you both. She told us that all the time.
Barb was a wonderful person. She cared about everyone. Her laughter will never be forgotten. She was always so positive and inspiring. She made it fun to come to work. We would laugh so hard we would cry. She always helped us get through the stressful times. She always made sure everyone else was happy and ok.
Barb will be truly missed. If you need anything, please let us know. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Such a tragic loss to such a loving family. I am comforted by remembering Barb's life as it was a blessing to me in many ways. (We were associates at Bank of America). I know she was a blessing to all of you whose life she touched. She is a true angel!
I know she loved her sons Corey & Troy and her husband Andy as she spoke of them fondly. You could see that she was loved as that love sparkled in her eyes and smile and you could hear it in her laughter.
I knew Barb as my manager, as a friend, and as a loving woman. In a way, I think everyone wanted to see her more and enjoy her company more but we knew that her heart was with her family and they came first.
I will miss her but I know that she is missed by many. My prayers are with you. I pray that your memories of her will warm your soul throughout your life as she had warmed ours with her genuine love and friendship.

We are so sorry for your sudden loss. It is hard to find the right words to express the loss of Barbie. She was so full of life and brought such happiness to everyone that knew her.
Barbie was her mothers special angel. She was loving, sensitive to the needs of others, and her smile was beautiful and genuine. She loved life, and loved being with her boys and her husband. She was so very proud of her family.
Its hard to believe that she is really gone. Barbie is now with the Lord and watching over her family from above. May the happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time.
Time and prayer are the keys to healing the pain. You are in our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers. We wish you and your family strength and peace during this time of loss and sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss. Barb was a wonderful woman and great friend. She will be greatly missed.
Many of us believe that Barb was “the glue that held things together.” She was a terrific co-worker, one that you could always rely on and know that she cared about her work and co-workers. She was a wonderful asset to all of the companies she worked at. GMAC ResCap will not be the same place.
Andy, I hope you know that Barb talked and laughed about all the things you two did. You were her "true love". She spoke of how you were a great dad and wonderful husband and friend. She knew you always had her and the boys in your heart.
Corey and Andy, your mom was a great mom! She loved you very much and spoke of all the things she loved about you two. She was extremely proud of both of you.
To the Knowlton and Manning Families, Barb loved being a part of such a big and wonderful family. She enjoyed the family gatherings and she always had a great story to share with us. You could tell she loved each of you with her whole heart.

To My Sweet, Kind, Loving, Funny friend,
We were each other's best friends for years, I was your maid of honor, but the honor was all mine. We used to call each other and laugh until we cried and we could finish each other's sentences. We drifted apart when our lives got busy, but I never stopped thinking about you, and considered you my dearest friend. I always thought we would reconnect when life slowed down,now I don't have the chance and I'm heartbroken. But I know I will see you again someday.

Besides being a wonderful wife and mohter of two "great" sons, Barb was a terrific friend and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. More than once Barb and I discussed both the "trials and joys" of raising boys.

We will always remember Barb for her kindness and sweetness. In the loving chaos that can be a Manning Family Gathering, Barb always took the time to say "hi" and remember what was going on in my life and inquire about it. She had a wonderful "genuineness" to her that could relax people and make them feel comfortable.
