Oh my, I JUST heard about Barbara Kierig's passing! :-( I didn't study with her, but found her an extremely delightful woman and a really fine teacher. I simply wanted to tell her family that. ~ Denise Myers

Barbara, you were probably the most pivotal voice teacher I ever had. But more importantly, you were such a warm, funny and caring person. My deepest sympathy to your family. You will always be cherished.

I cried when I heard of Barb's passing. It was a privilege to study voice with Barb over the years. She was THE teacher that gave me the confidence I needed as a singer through her solid technique. She was so giving and I learned so much. It has been an honor to pass her legacy on to students in my studio over the years. Barb is a gem and I will miss her.

I am sorry for your loss. She was a bright light on stage. That light was carried through to all of her students.
