Bergit, you were the first teacher I worked with in the White Bear Lake School District. You taught me many things with your patience & guidance. You always treated me with respect, as I did you, & as an equal. You gave me my first taste of an artichoke. I haven't stopped eating them since! I enjoyed hearing about your many travels and the family you so dearly loved and was proud of. You were my mentor, my teacher, my friend. I will miss you, Bergit. You will always be in my heart & my prayers. Your family has my deepest sympathies.
