Brent's family,

I was one of Brent's many nurses, and was saddened to hear that he is gone. My deepest sympathy. He always had a great sense of humor; I remember after a big dose of pain medicine he sang to me "I wanna be sedated!" I laughed so hard!! I also was very touched by the special and romantic New Years eve that he was able to have-I believe it was 2001. Well, I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you all during this difficult time, and to let you know he will not be forgotten!

I worked with Brent a few years at the Lido. I left 3 years ago from there and I remember Brent as one of the more wonderful young men I have ever met. As parents what a wonderful job you did!! God welcomed him home with open arms with peace and joy. The times I would stop in to see him he always had a smile on his face even in pain. What a great person, you can be so proud of him. I loved Brent as if he were my own son. God Bless you all and give you Peace.

Nancy and family and Beth,

We only met through email and through sharing the impacts of a relentless disease. It was wonderful to hear that Brent and Beth were able to 'marry' and I hope you all manage to go on finding joy in life without him. I didn't realise he wanted to be a biologist: something else we share.

Best wishes from Jo and Stuart in the UK

My deepest sympathy on the passing of your son, Brent. I can only imagine the pain of losing a child, but through God's love and strength you will carry on. Cherish the memories and know that Brent suffers no more, it is we who are left behind that carry the pain. But, with time, it eases. Keep loved ones and friends close.
