Danny & I met in l944 when we both moved onto Summit Ave. He was from St, Lukes and I was always in St. Marks. We spent many happy hours using our special playground (Summit Ave center blvd.) throwing footballs, baseballs and one time hitting golf balls. Highschool for Dan was Cretin and I went to STMA . The rivalry between the two schools was greater then than now but we remained good friends through the full four years before both of us entered St, Thomas College. Danny did a great job at the College in the swimming team and the all college council and was elected Class president in the senior year. After college and military we both spent our professional years in the insurance business as friendly competitors. Dan was a great guy and will be missed by many

Dear Schneeman family,
I am sorry for the loss of Dan. He was a really great guy. I have fond memories of times spent with your family at your lake, our lake and around the Cities. It's a shame that you can't have the wake and funeral now. Hope to see you when that's possible.

Dear Mrs. Schneeman and family,
I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Schneeman's passing but what a legacy of love, contribution and happiness he left!
Being a classmate of Chris at St. Thomas Academy I had the occasion to visit their home a time or two for a party. I just remember there being an air of order and happiness there. Chris was always friendly and upbeat and it was clear he inherited that from his parents. Certainly Dan and Mary Jeanne Schneeman are a great example to all of us.
May Mr. Schneeman have a wonderful journey to his eternal life and may the Schneeman family be filled with all the wonderful memories he left you.

My deepest condolences Eric, and our prayers are with the entire Schneeman family. Dan will rise, just as Jesus did. Have a blessed Easter.

So sorry about the passing of my good friend Dan Schneeman. My sincere condolences to Mary Jeanne, Chris, Nick and all the familia ! I first met the Schneemans when Mary Jeanne took their young sons, Chris and Nick to my hairstyling shop on Smith Avenue. A few months later Dan and Mary Jeanne hired my rock group to play for Dan's 40th Birthday party at their home. At the party Mary Jeanne ordered all their friends to go to my shop, our friendship grew and my business took off. Lots of great/fun memories over the years with the Schneemans. I would as Dan if he could name all his grandkids.
A wonderful man who raised a great family ! So long amigo, rest in peace. God bless!

He will be greatly missed by us all, but the lessons he taught us about living with gusto will be remembered by all who knew him. I feel lucky to have been a part of his extended family.

Dan was the 1st insurance agent I had, as I entered the adult work world in 1983, with Dr. Harry Skinner. Dan recommended renter's insurance and I signed onto Schneeman Insurance for many years.
I appreciated his guidance and willingness to help me navigate into purchasing necessary insurance for my well being and my belongings.
Condolences to Dan's wife, children, extended family members ( like Dr Harry Skinner ) and friends.

We have all been blessed to know Dan. He was a man of great faith and one of the kindness people Ive ever met. Always a smile on his face and kind words of greeting. A role model for anyone who knew him. He will be missed but his memory will be a lasting legacy.

How wonderful it is to have known this fine man so many years.
Dan's grin was as quick as his MIAC Mile-Long Swimming Record at St. Thomas College years ago.
When you greeted Dan, his handshake bespoke a man who knew how to grip your hand and a golf club. Just right.
He and his dear wife of 65 years, Mary Jeanne, made everyone they ever met feel welcome, They showed us all what a truly committed marriage means.
Dan, you and Mary Jeanne have left the legacy of family to us all. We will be missing you at the side-altar pews at St. Joe's Saturday Mass. RIP and Amen.
