The first time I met Delores was at church..I was very sad at that time because I had recently lost my husband. But she was there to encourage me through my grief. One of the first things she said to me was, you have to be a friend in order to have a friend. And I remember thinking, I don't want any! But she kept after me with her encouraging words until I welcomed her friendship. We was a wonderful friend.
