What can I say about my dearest friend? He was compassionate, frustrating, funny, generous, strong and he adored his family. He was so proud of Josh and always lived life with his son in mind. He always wanted to be the kind of father that Josh would love and respect and I believe he achieved that. He helped me early in my sobriety. That support kept me clean and sober. Staying clean and sober allowed my greatest wish to happen, my daughter. Very few people understood our relationship and often trivialized it. Dennis was my rock, my friend and I was his biggest fan. I'm thankful that he reached out so we could reconnect. I will think of everyday, as I have for the last 24 years. Rest in peace my friend, thank you for my daughter. You will always be loved.
