Bless you my Friend. You were a big brother to me and my family members.
I remember growing up in your house with Tom and the family. You had the BEST sounding stereo I've ever heard and still to this day nothing comes close. also, asking you to throw a couple pitches my way when we were playing ball in front of the house. And when you threw the ball with incredible speed I was lucky enough to catch it however, when I would take the catchers mitt off, my hand was about the same size as the catchers mitt. A bit swollen I would say. It was always great having you around. You will be missed.
Right now there is a huge Void in the west side for we have lost a legend! RIP friend.

Sincere sympathies to the family. I played fast pitch for Drkula's 32 with a pitcher that we called "Fast Eddie". Could this be him? I haven't seen Ed in many years. I knew him in the 70's and he was a good friend and fellow teammate. We had a lot of fun in those days. Sounds like he lived a good life! Cheers Ed.

Edmund... Memories from the Bougie Family; Where do I start? I first met Edmund when I was 10 years old. He was good friends with my older brother David Bougie. Edmond spent many days (and nights) at our house on the lower Wes´ Side . He hung out at our house after school, ate dinner with us many times AND due to his charm and wit, ultimately became good friends with the entire Bougie family including myself, my sister Linda, my brother Mark but most important my mom and dad; Joe and Bev Bougie.
Edmund was always respectful well mannered and considerate to my parents. When Edmund went to trade school, One of his first projects in his sheet metal class was to make a portable cooler. He made that cooler and gave it to us. We used it for many years.
When my brother came home after, "serving for two years" Edmund was there to greet my brother. Edmund bought `Michael´s´ pizzas (cannot get more Wes´ Side then that) for everybody to celebrate my brothers homecoming.
My father helped mentor Edmond with his pitching. And as we all know, Edmond was considered one of the best Fastpitch pitchers in the upper Midwest. My brothers and I played Fastpitch with Edmund for many many years. We played with him and against him. I think I speak for everyone when I say that it was much more fun and enjoyable to play with him, that is to say if you enjoyed winning more than losing. EDMUND THREW SMOKE!!!!!
It´s well documented that Edmond was a loving family man, a husband, a great father and grandfather, a mentor, a coach, a great athlete and a good friend. Edmund loved his friendships with people. He kept in touch with many of his friends during the years through visits, phone calls (especially with my sister Linda) or having coffee up at Gallaghers. Always smiling and quick with a story about the old Wes Side.
Edmund, you were/are a class act, an iconic Wes Sider, A loving caring human being and most of all A great father, family man and friend. Your presence shall forever be greatly missed!!!!
Sincerely and respectfully,
The Bougie´s

Sincere condolences to the family of Edmund. He will be remembered as a great & very polite man. Always greeted my husband Trinidad & myself with hug, smile & was always happy when he saw us. Trinidad played fast pitch with Edmund, as he will be remembered as one of the best fast pitch pitchers!! He was a great friend & schoolmate of my deceased sister Antonia. Rest peacefully in God´s Heavenly Kingdom. Vaya Cón Dios.
