Edward Speer REID

Passed away peacefully on August 9th at Boutwell's Landing in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota. Ed is survived by his wife Dorothy; children: Ann, Nancy (Rob Roach), David (Laurie Rhodes) and Peter (Tracey); grandchildren: Ed (Stacey), Julianne (Corey) Ann and Kate Roach, Blake Reid, Kelly Reid, Lauren Reid, Alex Reid, Elizabeth Reid; and great-granddaughters Adeline and Kennedy. Under his direction from 1961 to 2000, the family business, The Park Nurseries grew and prospered. He was passionate about giving back - but anonymously - so while his generosity of time and money are not public, all who knew him know his many contributions to this community which he left a much better place. Some of them include Presbyterian Homes & Services of MN, Board of Directors; Washington County H.S.I., Board; Presbyterian Homes Foundation, MN Nursery & Landscape Association, Past President; Kiwanis, Past President; Roselawn Cemetery, Board of Directors., etc. Services have been held. In lieu of flower, memorials are preferred to Presbyterian Homes at Boutwell's Landing.
