Elizabeth Keen Obituary

Keen, Elizabeth E. (Pokey) Age 91, Of Princeton Died Sunday, June 4th at her residence at the Caley House. Elizabeth E. Jump, daughter of Clinton and Winnie (Atkins) Jump, was born on January 8, 1915 at Princeton, MN. She was raised and educated at Princeton. She was united in marriage with Edwin Keen on May 15, 1938 in the Princeton United Methodist Church and they had lived at Princeton, most of their lives. She and Ed loved to travel to horse shows with their daughter, Maggie. She worked at the Fingerhut Company in Princeton, after having raised her family. They loved to travel in their retirement years and spent their summers on Bass Lake. Betty moved into the Caley House in November of 2001 and became an avid card player, loving the environment there. Her husband, Ed died on March 2, 2002. She is survived by her three sons and one daughter, Philip (Sue) Keen of West St. Paul, MN, John (Pat) Keen of Princeton, Tom (Carol) Keen of Milaca and Maggie (Kevin) Johnson of Zimmerman; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed; a son, Kenny in 1991; three sisters and one brother. Visitation 5-7 PM, Wednesday at Williams-Hanson-Kaun and for one hour before services at the church. Memorial Service 11 AM, Thursday, June 8th at the First Love Fellowship, Princeton, MN. Burial Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton. Williams-Hanson-Kaun, Princeton
