Ellen Murphy Obituary

Murphy, Sister Ellen, - CSJ. Died at Bethany Convent, Friday, April 16, 2004. Sister Ellen taught kindergarten and the primary grades, English at the secondary level, and was responsible for Early Childhood Education at the College of St. Catherine. She also was a writer particularly of poetry. She is survived by her sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, her caregivers and the Sisters of St. Joseph. The reviewal will be at BETHANY CONVENT, 1870 Randolph Ave. Tuesday, April 20, from 8:00-10:00 AM followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM. Memorials preferred to the Sisters of St. Joseph Retirement Fund. Arr. O'Halloran & Murphy 651-698-0796.

I am really sorry to hear that she left so early..If this is the lady who always went to Tec's and hung out with Nancy and Gordy Boucher and have couple of beers then I am thinkin on the right track... I am sorry for her lost..I will keep Sister Ellen's family in my prayers...Love n christ, ~*kristi*~
